Two schools, one specialty.
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is one of the few medical specialties that requires dual university education — in both Dentistry and Medicine. It is a path of 15+ years of continuous training, and the reason an oral & maxillofacial surgeon can handle cases that go beyond what a typical dental office can address.
I completed my Dental degree at the University of Athens in 2009, and while running my private practice I began my second degree in Medicine at the same university, completed in 2015. I then earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Stomatology / Oral Pathobiology from the University of Athens.
My surgical specialty training began with two years of General Surgery at the General Hospital of Thebes (2016-2018) — an essential foundation for any facial surgeon — and continued with six years of specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Evangelismos General Hospital (2018-2024). Since 2024, as a fully specialized OMF surgeon, I also work as an associate at the ORL Athens Clinic and Eugenideio Hospital, while remaining dedicated to my private practice established in 2009.
